| Creating A Pillow Form |
Pillow instructions 1
1. Place pieces of felt right sides together.
2. With thread of similar color, sew around all four sides leaving space on the
fourth side to turn the pillow shape inside out and leaving room to push the
pillow form or fiberfill in and shape.
3. After you have the pillow stuffed fold the part that was not sewn inside and pin.
4. Whipstitch closed.*
* to whipstitch insert your needle inside the fold of the fabric on one side and then
into the fold of the other side trying to have little thread seen on the outside. A
whipstitch is considered a simple stitch made by running your thread over and
under fabric in order to hold two pieces of fabric together.
Pillow Instructions 2
1. Using your favorite iron on adhesive, place right sides together and fuse
together on three sides and part of the fourth leaving an opening in the center
of the fourth side.
2. After stuffing the pillow form as instructed above, place more of the iron on
adhesive in opening and fuse closed. You may also whipstitch closed if desired.
