1. With a good size piece of aluminum foil,
roughly shape it into a ghostly form so that
gauze can be draped over it and shaped (Illus.A).
Place form on a styrofoam plate (it will stick
to a paper plate).

2. The amount of gauze you use depends on
the size of your form.  Cut the guaze in a
single layer with a good 3" excess all the
way around for shaping and creating the
bottom drape.

3. Pour equal parts glue and water in a disposable or craft dedicated bowl.

4. Place plastic wrap over the form for easier removal after drying.

5. Dip craft gauze or cheesecloth in the glue solution making sure it is completely dampened.

6. Remove the gauze from the glue making sure that all of it has been soaked.  Slide it
between your fingers to remove excess liquid and drape over the form giving it a ghostly shape

7. Allow to rest until completely dry (usually overnight), and then remove foil.
Make several sizes and place lights under
them for a ghostly evening!
They make great centerpieces for
holiday parties.
