Design By Katy Boothe
1. Choose an assortment of school themed stamps
and/or stickers.

2. Make a border around the outside edge of the
cork.  We used a checkered stamp with a
bright red acrylic paint.

3. Use alphabet stamps or markers to put a title
(School Days) on the cork.

4. To create a pocket cut a piece of paper to 6.5" x 12"

5. Wrap about an 1 1/12" around to the back and
secure it with tape.  Make sure the sides of the paper
line up with the sides of the cork.

6. To secure the front run a thin line of glue along the
right and left side of the paper.

7. Add a few upholstery or thumb tacks to make it
secure.

8. Now you can decorate the pocket with stickers, stamps or di-cuts.

* To decorate our pocket we cut some shapes from craft foam and then used a permanent marker to add
detail and give it a little dimension.

9. To hang your memo board poke two holes at the top of the cork and string ribbon through them. Tie two
knots at both ends of the string to secure it in place.
