1. Choose a decorative bowl for your
finished potpourri to be displayed in.
2. If you choose to include a candle,
as shown, put the candle holder in
before adding any ingredients. Also
ensure the candle holder is taller
than the potpourri to avoid
accidental fire.
3. Build up a base using small
cinnamon sticks and small pine cones.
4. As the bowl fills add the bigger pine
cones and the decorative apples.
5. For the final touch to the potpourri
use a food grater to put some of the zest or peel from an orange. To give your potpourri a
little more fragrance sprinkle all-spice seasoning over the top.
Tip: If you use a candle fill the bottom of the holder with ground cinnamon.
