1. Quill a 24" strip of black paper into a loose coil.
2. Cut 8, 1" strips for the legs. Bend the 1" strip in half and then 1/8" from the top and again from the bottom.
3. Glue 4 legs to each side of the body. After putting the leg on the body hold it for a few seconds to make a good contact with the glue. A tiny bit of glue is the best way to go.
4. Glue 2, 5mm eyes to the top of the loose coiled body.
Witch
1. Quill an arrow out of a 12" strip of purple for the top of the witches hat, put a bend in point of the arrow.
2. For the brim of the hat quill a moon from a 12" strip of black.
3. With a 12" strip of tan, quill a loose coil. To create the mouth place the coil on a cork board and using straight pins move the center of the coil towards the bottom and place a dab of glue on top spreading it over the gathered area.
4. For the hair, cut a 3 1/2", 3" and 2 1/2" strip of black. Bend each of the pieces in several places at the ends of the strips.
5. Glue all the pieces together as shown in the photo above using the cork board and straight pins to help let the glue dry.
Candy Corn
1. Quill a rectangle using a 12" strip of orange. Wrap it with a 2" strip of black. Trim any loose edges.
2. Make a gumdrop then pinch two points on the top making a flat top triangle shape. Wrap it with a 1 3/4" strip of black quilling paper.
3. For the top of the candy corn quill a triangle using a 6" strip of yellow. Wrap it with a 1 1/2" strip of black.
